Economic Development Website
The Challenge
While King Township Economic Development had created a blog in 2014, business was underrepresented on the Township website. Because King Township has 3 main villages, and is located on the Oak Ridges Moraine, Economic Development needed a way to be more nimble in its communications to business.
The Scope
Design, build and write copy for a website focused on attracting, retaining and expanding businesses in King Township. Make transitioning to the website appear seamless from the Township website while optimizing communications to business.
The Impact
Business now has clear information on King's economy, zoning, permits and licences, rela estate and more. Concurrent with the development of the website, a Guide for Starting or Expanding Your Business in King was written, which provided a step by step path for business.
